Vitreous Enamel Panels For Metero Station Wall Cladding
Product Description
Vitreous enamel panels, also known as porcelain enamel panels or simply enamel panels, are a type of cladding material used in architectural and construction applications. They are made by fusing powdered glass to a substrate, typically metal, through a high-temperature firing process.
The manufacturing process involves several steps. First, a metal panel, such as aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, is fabricated to the desired size and shape. The panel is then coated with a layer of powdered glass, which contains pigments for coloration. The glass powder is evenly applied to the panel's surface, either through a wet or dry application method.
Next, the coated panel is heated in a kiln or furnace at temperatures ranging from 750 to 900 degrees Celsius (1382 to 1652 degrees Fahrenheit). During the firing process, the glass powder melts and fuses to the metal substrate, forming a durable and smooth vitreous enamel coating. The high temperature is necessary to achieve the desired bonding and chemical reactions between the glass and metal.

Note:
The thickness of the pattern depends on the color; The warranty time of the pattern will be same as the surface coating of VITREOUS ENAMEL PANELS; The pattern on the curved panel (column shape) will be produced by man-hand, so it might be slightly tolerance for each piece. Where shown in the Drawings, the Wall Cladding shall be finished with Vitreous Enamel system. The coating is based on Dry Powder Electrostatic Enameling. The color shall be for one side and be selected by the Architect/SO. |
