Product Description
Vitreous enamel cladding and architectural wall cladding refer to the use of vitreous enamel panels as a protective and decorative covering for building exteriors or interiors. Vitreous enamel is a type of glass coating that is fused onto a metal substrate, typically steel, through a high-temperature firing process. This creates a durable, weather-resistant, and visually appealing surface.
Vitreous enamel cladding offers several benefits for architectural applications:
1-Durability: Vitreous enamel panels are highly resistant to corrosion, UV radiation, and weathering. They can withstand harsh environmental conditions, ensuring long-term performance and minimal maintenance requirements.
2-Aesthetic Appeal: The smooth and glossy finish of vitreous enamel panels provides a visually striking appearance to buildings. They are available in a wide range of colors, textures, and finishes, allowing for diverse design possibilities.
3-Weather Resistance: Vitreous enamel cladding offers excellent resistance to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and fading. It helps protect the underlying structure from water ingress and prevents color or surface degradation.
4-Easy Maintenance: Vitreous enamel panels are relatively low maintenance. They can be easily cleaned with mild detergents and water, and their non-porous surface resists dirt, stains, and graffiti.
5-Versatility: Vitreous enamel cladding can be used in various architectural applications, including facades, roof systems, column covers, and interior wall cladding. It can be customized to fit specific design requirements and can be fabricated into different shapes and sizes.
Product Certificates
Vitreous enamel panels can undergo testing and certification by various international standards organizations and testing laboratories to ensure their quality and compliance with industry standards. Here are some common organizations and tests relevant to vitreous enamel panels:
1-BS (British Standards): The British Standards Institution (BSI) provides standards and testing for various products, including vitreous enamel panels. BS EN ISO 28765 is a British Standard that specifically addresses vitreous and porcelain enamels for industrial applications.
2-EN (European Norms): The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) issues European Norms (EN) that define the technical specifications and performance requirements for products, including vitreous enamel panels. EN 14431 is the European standard for vitreous enamel panels and specifies the requirements for their properties and performance.
3-ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials): ASTM International develops and publishes technical standards for various materials and products. ASTM standards relevant to vitreous enamel panels include ASTM B604 and ASTM B605, which cover the testing methods for metallic coatings and enamels on metal substrates.
4-SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance): SGS is a multinational company that provides inspection, testing, and certification services. They offer comprehensive testing and certification services for various products, including vitreous enamel panels. SGS can perform tests to verify the quality, performance, and compliance of vitreous enamel panels with the applicable standards.

Note:
The thickness of the pattern depends on the color; The warranty time of the pattern will be same as the surface coating of VITREOUS ENAMEL PANELS; The pattern on the curved panel (column shape) will be produced by man-hand, so it might be slightly tolerance for each piece. Where shown in the Drawings, the Wall Cladding shall be finished with Vitreous Enamel system. The coating is based on Dry Powder Electrostatic Enameling. The color shall be for one side and be selected by the Architect/SO. |
